This notice explains Canopy Market's relationship with listed services and the limited operational information collected when rewarded relay is used.
Independent listing service
Canopy Market is an independent discovery service and proof of concept. We do not promote, recommend, endorse, certify, or rank any listing merely because it appears in the catalog. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Canopy Market is not affiliated with, sponsored by, partnered with, or acting on behalf of any listed merchant, marketplace, protocol, data provider, or payment facilitator. Names and links are used only to identify third-party services.
Listings and descriptions may be obtained from merchants, marketplaces, or other public sources. They can be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, unavailable, or altered by their operators without notice. Inclusion is not a warranty of identity, ownership, legality, security, availability, data quality, price, or fitness for a particular purpose. Users must independently verify a service before relying on it or making a payment.
Third-party terms and rights
Access to a listed endpoint remains subject to the merchant's terms, marketplace terms, licences, geographic restrictions, and applicable law. A catalog entry, link, relay route, payment, or coupon does not grant permission to copy, store, redistribute, resell, or otherwise reuse third-party data. Users are responsible for determining whether their intended access and use are permitted. Canopy Market may remove, limit, or disable listings or relay access when necessary for security, sanctions compliance, legal compliance, or rights-holder requests.
Rewarded relay privacy
When rewarded relay is used, Canopy Market records anonymized, sanitized operational information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service. This can include a random request identifier, time, catalog endpoint identifier, HTTP method, merchant origin, response status, duration, byte counts, content type, advertised payment conditions, and coupon issuance outcome.
Rewarded relay event records do not contain request or response bodies, query values, authentication credentials, payment signatures, payer wallet addresses, transaction hashes, or client IP addresses. As with most web services, separate short-lived infrastructure and security logs may contain an IP address, user agent, requested path, and timestamp for abuse prevention, rate limiting, sanctions controls, and service reliability.
For every relay request, Canopy Market transmits the originating client IP address to the selected merchant in standard forwarding headers and a X-Canopy Market-Client-IP header. This lets the merchant apply its own geographic, fraud, security, and legal controls despite the network relay. The merchant receives the address as part of processing the request and may handle it under its own privacy and retention terms.
We do not sell or otherwise share rewarded relay telemetry with third parties. The necessary transmission of the originating IP address to the merchant serving the requested endpoint is not a sale of telemetry. We retain operational information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, and may preserve or disclose limited information when required by law or necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, or a security incident.
Site performance analytics
To monitor reliability and accessibility, public pages may sample browser performance measurements such as Largest Contentful Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift, and Interaction to Next Paint. Reports contain only the metric name, numeric value, and a broad page-template label (for example homepage or offering). They do not contain the page URL, query string, catalog identifier, form values, IP address, cookies, wallet information, or browser fingerprint. Server request telemetry similarly uses bounded route templates rather than raw URLs. These operational measurements are retained under the service analytics retention policy and are not displayed publicly.
Relay and rewards
The relay is a technical intermediary and does not make Canopy Market the merchant or publisher of the third-party response. A Canopy Market coupon or reward is offered independently by Canopy Market; it is not a merchant discount, joint promotion, endorsement, or evidence of a relationship with the merchant. Users remain responsible for checking the payment terms presented for each request before authorizing payment.

Canopy Market is not responsible for third-party endpoints, content, payment systems, outages, losses, or decisions made in reliance on a listing.
